  • Have a chance from research planning stage to the execution stage in our client’s market research project
  • Attend the meetings with clients, partner and suppliers, as well as a range of seminars and workshops related to market research. You may be expected to socialize with stakeholders and clients to build and develop relationships
  • Benefit from extensive training and coaching sessions in modules and programs regarding market research
  • Have an opportunity to access the Company’s treasuring assets and join in the relationships with successful businesspeople (Foreigners & Vietnamese)
  • Have exposure to many different business models, small to large scale cooperation, and thus gaining an enhanced understanding of market research planning, design and execution

Job Description:

Service R&D

  • Perform services research (trend & industry analysis) for service R&D
  • Be responsible for the creation of research designs and research frameworks for different purposes, which will become the foundation of Viettonkin’s client projects
  • Create, maintain and enhance quantitative models and a number of reporting databases critical to the department programs
  • Devise automation & technological tools for the purpose of performing and analyzing data
  • Develop a structured and efficient quality control system to keep clients contented and the projects successful

Service Delivery

  • Create and maintain relationship with clients and partners
  • Coordinate test screenings internally and externally: Securing appropriate locations and internal approvals, identifying appropriate demographics, coordinating client needs, managing research vendors
  • Design and recommend appropriate research, manage execution and interpretation of the results and provide actionable recommendations to Viettonkin clients and our own subsidiaries
  • Provide high level strategic research and analysis of industry, company, and therapeutic areas
  • Develop an ISO-based process (with a guidebook & forms)
  • Coordinate, synthesise and analyse large amounts of both quantitative and qualitative data and design and create visually appealing, high-level summary documents
  • Communicate research findings both internally and externally – presentations, reports and briefings
  • Promote cross-selling and up-selling activities

Professional development/thought leadership

  • Take training courses in market research and relevant educational programs to gain and broaden knowledge about market intelligence and the market itself
  • Train entry-level, part-time or internship staffs about research skills
  • Recruit and train/coach capable staffs with a view to forming a strong in-house market research team
  • Provide back-up support to the administrative roles within the department
  • Other activities according to job requirements and assigned by superiors


  • University degree required, preferably with a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Information Management, Economics or other analytically focused field of study
  • Minimum 2 years in market research and/or relevant work experience
  • Highly developed conceptual skills; able to synthesize large quantities of data into capsule information quickly; and ability to present relevant findings and recommendations in an organized and clear manner
  • Experience identifying market trends and researching information effectively through various channels
  • Strong project management skills – highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritize projects and deliverables
  • Flexibility to effectively deal with unexpected assignments, short deadlines and changes to workload based on management priorities or client requests.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously and be a strong team player
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office applications and other analytical tools, including database querying (SQL), Tableau, R, etc.
  •  Excellent communication skills; speaking, writing, listening, to effectively build relationships both externally and internally
